Crockpot Chicken Fajitas

A delicious slow cooker chicken fajita recipe that doesn't break the bank or stretch your waist line.
Ingredients
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1½ lbs chicken breast (Washed off and fat removed.)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1½ Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • lime juice
  • tortillas
  • low-fat shredded cheese
  • hot sauce
Instructions
  1. Slice veggies.
  2. Place veggies at the bottom of your crockpot.
  3. Add chicken breast.
  4. Add chicken broth.
  5. Sprinkle on seasoning to cover the top of the chicken.
  6. Squart lime juice on top.
  7. Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 to 6 hours.
  8. Shred meat.
  9. Place chicken and veggies in tortilla, sprinkle on cheese, and add some hot sauce.
  10. Enjoy your budget friendly and healthy chicken fajitas.
Notes
When I am sick, I like to add extra broth to make soup with. You can also add garlic and paprika to the seasonings.
