Homemade Sports Drink on a Budget

This homemade sports drink doesn’t break your budget, can be made in many flavors, and can be made sugar-free.
Ingredients
  • 1 Quart Water
  • ⅓ cup sugar or 8 packets of [amazon_link id="B006XEGXCG" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]Stevia[/amazon_link]
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 6 squirts of [amazon_link id="B007AXVG8K" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]liquid flavoring[/amazon_link] (use those with vitamin B and electrolytes added) or ⅓ package of sugar-free kool aid (use this if you aren’t needing the drink for health benefits)
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients, except water into 1 quart [amazon_link id="B005T6FBOK" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]mason jar[/amazon_link].
  2. Fill the jar half full with water, close lid securely, and shake.
  3. Finish filling the jar with water and mix contents again.
  4. Refrigerate and enjoy.
Notes
I also add 3 scoops of unflavored [amazon_link id="B00007E31S" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]Osteo Bi-Flex[/amazon_link] drink mix to my husband’s jars. It has Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Acai, Calcium, Glucosamine, and other minerals.
